Requirements
Programme-specific additional requirements
Applicants with a Bachelor's degree in Law from a Swiss University generally only have to take economics-related credits and provide proof of linguistic and accounting knowledge as programme-specific additional requirements.
Programme-specific course credits
In the first year of your Master's degree course you must take 30 academic credits in addition to your Master's degree credits. It is possible to transfer equivalent credits that have already been taken.
6 - 12 ECTS Credits: Law & Economics Methods I & II
8 - 20 ECTS Credits: Economic subjects from among the compulsory subjects of the majors BWL and VWL
0 - 8 ECTS Credits: Integration work from the major BLE
Evidence of sufficient accounting knowledge
All students must provide evidence of sufficient accounting knowledge to successfully complete their Master's degree programme.
If you have already acquired sufficient knowledge of accounting during your studies, the evidence can be credited during the admission process. If this evidence is missing at the time of admission, the accountancy examination has to be taken at the University of St.Gallen.
