The conversation courses are part of the many optional course offered by the University of St. Gallen and are managed by the Language Center. The courses are open to all matriculated students and are free of charge.

Use this unique opportunity to improve your intercultural communication skills by increasing your knowledge of a foreign language together with your fellow students and under the guidance of a native speaker, free from grades or academic pressure.

Because there is a maximum number of students allowed per course, we ask you to only register for a course if you plan to attend it on a regular basis. Remember: for every registered student in a course who does not attend regularly, there are other more motivated students who did not receive the spot and are deprived of the opportunity to attend that course.

Registration:
The registration for the Conversation Courses will open in the first week of the semester (see green box above). Please follow the link to the course registration forms on the right hand-side of this page.

With your registration, you are obliged to attend at least 80% of the lessons. If you cannot attend the courses anymore, you have to send us a notification.

The Conversation Courses start in the third week of the semester (see green box in the top area of this page).
